We have another new BUZZCOCKS single coming out on Damaged Goods!

Another 3 track 7” featuring the following tracks, 2 of which are exclusive to this single

1. Sick City Sometimes - Taken from their latest album ‘Buzzcocks’ which is out in on Cherry Red and Merge. This track features Steve Diggle on lead vocals and is our favourite from the new album.

2. Never Believe It - An exclusive unreleased track from 1995

3. Paradise - A live version of the Buzzcocks classic recorded on a live webcast on a boat down the Thames in London in 1999

Pioneers and survivors of the punk era who never sucked or sold out, the Buzzcocks release a second single from their recent album. This 3 track EP features the title track plus the previously unreleased, Shelley penned tune from 1995 ‘Never Believe It’ and a storming live version of ‘Paradise’

Limited to 500 on cd and 2000 on the usual split-coloured vinyl!

For those of you who need reminding, the Buzzcocks kicked off the independent record scene with their self-financed Spiral Scratch EP and invented and perfected the punk-pop blueprint whch has inspired every generation of Œpunk‚ for 25 years. After making 3 class albums the original band split in 1981, reforming in 1989 for a world tour. In 1993 came a new line up, fronted by original songwriters Pete Shelley and Steve Diggle, with new rhythm section Tony Barber (bass) and Phil Barker (drums), producing the critically acclaimed Trade Test Transmission.

This much loved and respected band manage to remain true to their original ideals yet never sound dated. If you don‚t believe me just ask The Offspring,

Anti-Flag and Ash who have all recently covered Buzzcocks songs!

The band will be playing a full UK tour in November and December (check press for details), with more US dates to be announced very soon.
